Innovative Composite Engineering Carbon, Kevlar And Glass Design

The engineering team at ICE has been involved in the design and prototype of a wide variety of composite products over the past two decades. We are an industry leader in the development of industrial, marine, recreational, military and aerospace prepreg applications and are currently involved in a number of propriety projects involving extensive design, research, prototyping and analysis.

Our design capabilities include computer-aided drafting and 3D modeling for composite products ranging from simple tubing to complex hollow and solid shapes. We can develop prototypes from existing models or work from a conceptual design to bring initial drawings into a 3D modeling atmosphere. Custom and proprietary tooling is designed and manufactured in house at ICE to keep all confidential aspects of any project secure.

Our composite tubing database includes extensive data regarding the performance and mechanical characteristics of components with variable diameters, wall thicknesses, fibers, and matrices. Several decades of product development and manufacturing have aided ICE in reaching a high level of efficiency in prototyping and designing new projects in a variety of industries.

Our specialty is designing and prototyping a product that will easily integrate into an efficient and cost effective manufacturing environment. We believe this is equally as important as the design of the product itself. We work closely with our customers to develop a product that will meet or exceed their needs and the standards for their industry. Most of ICE's design/prototype work turns into long term in house manufacturing efforts. We are not a quick prototype shop, but one that provides a full service program to support a project from initial concepts through long term manufacturing and product analysis.
