Our cross-functional engineering team consists of individuals who are passionate about composite design & manufacturing. Pulling from multiple disciplines, we have the capability to under take any project, regardless of size, complexity, or timeline.
Our expanding composite knowledge base includes extensive data regarding the performance and mechanical characteristics of components with variable diameters, wall thicknesses, fibers, and matrices. Several decades of product development and manufacturing have aided ICE in reaching a high level of efficiency in prototyping and designing new projects in a variety of industries.
Our design capabilities include computer-aided drafting and 3D modeling for composite products ranging from simple tubing to complex hollow and solid shapes. We can develop prototypes from existing models or work from a conceptual design to bring initial drawings into a 3D modeling atmosphere. Custom and proprietary tooling is designed and manufactured in house at ICE to keep all confidential aspects of any project secure.
We partner with and support multiple leading educational institutions including Stanford University, Oregon State University, University of Portland, and the University of Washington. ICE’s President serves on the composites board at Stanford as a composite manufacturing expert.
